    Doktorhokashi idei két EP-jéből (Contrast és Contrast Remixes) elkészült végre a vinyl verzió. Az A oldalon négy eredeti dal, a B oldalon négy remix és egy Erik Sumo-val közös szám hallható.

    A doktorhokashi néven alkotó Döme Peti nem ma kezdte. Ismerhetjük, mint DJ Pipedome és úgy is, mint a szépemlékű Easylifenatural zenekar alapítója. Hosszabb kihagyás után 3-4 éve kezdett újra zenélgetni, ezúttal szólóban. Az utóbbi években több kislemezt, EP-t és remix EP-t is megjelentetett. Ahogy ezek borítói, a hozzájuk készült videók is egységes színvilágúak, úgy a zenék is jól behatárolhatóak: downtempo, electronica, dark electro pop.
    A nyitószámban Likó Marcell a Vad Fruttikból egy Áfra János vers részleteit szavalja, a másik három mű instrumentális, de a Contrast EP így is végig izgalmas hallgatnivaló.

    A remixerek között feltűnik a Vad Fruttik két tagja, a zenekar basszusgitárosa Hock Zoltán alias Hocknroll és a billentyűs Györffy Gyula alias Maxwell Chrome (aka Julez aka Bakony Scamp). Rajtuk kívül régi barátunk Varga Dávid aka Ernő Piaf debütál kiadónknál, valamint Dudás Marcel is visszatér, de ezúttal a Carmel alterego alatt.


    The vinyl version of doktorhokashi’s two EP this year (Contrast and Contrast Remixes) has finally been completed. There are four original tracks on side A and four remix versions on the flip, plus a song together with Erik Sumo.

    Peter Döme was a founder of the already disbanded Easylifenatural but he also known as DJ Pipedome. After a long hiatus, he started making music again 3-4 years ago, but this time in solo as doktorhokashi. He has released several singles, EPs and remix EPs in the recent years. Just like all the cover artworks and videos made for these releases have unique color schemes, the music of doktorhokashi can be easily recognized too: gloomy electro pop with downtempo and electronica. This blend of musical genres makes Contrast EP an exciting listening pleasure A guest vocalist Marcell Likó - from the popular band Vad Fruttik - recites excerpts of a poem by János Áfra in the opening track while the remaining three tracks are instrumental.

    Among the remixers are two members of Vad Fruttik, the bassist of the band Zoltán Hock alias Hocknroll and the keyboardist Györffy Gyula alias Maxwell Chrome (aka Julez aka Bakony Scamp). In addition to them, Mana Mana’s old pal Dávid Varga aka Ernő Piaf will make his debut at our label, and Marcel Dudás will return with his Carmel alterego.

Szeptember 11-re, az Independent Label Fair-re időzítve érkezik doktorhokashi Contrast című legutóbbi EP-jének remix változata. A négy remixből és egy Erik Sumo-val közös számból álló kiadvány elérhető lesz az összes digitális boltban és streaming felületen. Egy vinyl is készül, az A oldalán az eredeti számokkal, B oldalán a remix változatokkal, de a megnövekedett gyártási idők miatt sajnos ez nem készül el a vásárra.
További érdekesség, hogy az Erik Sumo-val készített szám, két eltérő verzióban kerül a digitális és vinyl kiadványokra.

Remix version of doktorhokashi’s latest release, Contrast EP is scheduled for 11th September - when Independent Label Fair will be held in Budapest. The release consisting four remixes and a song co-written with Erik Sumo, will be available in all digital stores and streaming platforms. A vinyl version is also being made, with the original tracks on side A and the remix versions on the flip, but due to the increased production times the official pressing will not be ready for the fair.
An interesting detail is that the track with Erik Sumo will be released in two different versions, one for digital and a different for vinyl releases. Among the remixers are two members of Vad Fruttik, the bassist of the band Zoltán Hock alias Hocknroll and the keyboardist Györffy Gyula alias Maxwell Chrome (aka Julez aka Bakony Scamp).
